I went to Cobre Consolidated High School - 1959, then to Western New Mexico University - 1969 receiving a B.A. Degree, Business Major, Art Minor. He was a Automotive Manufacturing Engineer, and retired, 1992 I have been involved with various disciplines of woodwork, as a hobby, for most of my life and began lathe turning in 2000.  I find that I most enjoy the almost infinite possibilities of segmented turning projects.  This discipline allows the artist to use the many grains, textures and hues of natural woods as a palette to create and accentuate design.
