Donna K. Johnson was born in Farmington, New Mexico and has lived in many different areas of the state including Alamogordo, Artesia, Carlsbad, Farmington, La Luz, Quemado, Taos, Santa Fe, and currently resides in Las Cruces. Her ancestors settled in and around Sixteen Springs Canyon near High Rolls, NM in the mid 1800’s.

As a child, Donna’s had a passion for art. Although she received a Masters Degree in Business Administration and helped her husband, Fred, run their computer sales and support business for several years, she has always wanted to pursue a career as an artist. Her love of the Southwest and native New Mexico is reflected in each piece that she creates.
