Critical Strategy Track: Formation in a Deficit of Democracy

Track Chair: Usha C. V. Haley


This track invites papers on all aspects of the processes through which managers of private and public sector organizations form, mold and choose or do not choose organizational democracy. Possible topics for papers and panel proposals could include how managers disseminate key messages, negotiate organizational democracy, identify and mold relations with key stakeholders, and other aspects by which managers create, choose and perpetuate images and realties of their organizations that move closer to or further away from democracy. Accepted papers will be considered for inclusion in 5 academic refereed journals, including the Journal of Organizational Change Management.
