	Senate Resolution 32 calls for another Congressional vote - Call your senators (1-800-839-5276 or 202-224-3121), and urge them to support Senate Resolution 32, which calls for another Congressional vote before the United States commences a war. 	Call the White House Comment Line - So, whether you oppose or approve of the proposed war in Iraq, give a call. The line only accepts calls from 9-5 EST. Monday thru Friday. Just call the White House at 202-456-1111. A machine will detain you for only a moment and then a pleasant live operator will thank you for saying "I oppose" or "I approve." It! w! ill only take minutes. Note that the weekends are closed for calls. The president has said that he wants to know what the American people are thinking. Let him know. Time is running out...

	Working Assets Long Distance is launching a calling campaign to the White House. REJECT BUSH'S FIRST-STRIKE POLICY. President Bush's national security strategy, spelled out in a document submitted to Congress last month, calls for unilateral "anticipatory" military attacks by the United States on other nations to "forestall or prevent hostile acts by our adversaries."  This hyper-aggressive stance, seen in our current approach to Iraq, is a rejection of less dangerous and more effective strategies, such as deterrence, engaged diplomacy and international coalition building.  It also sets a terrible precedent: Well-armed rivals like Pakistan and India could use such a rationale to legitimize first strike attacks with nuclear weapons.
