OXYMORON:
“You can not force your own interests on
the world
and
be a diplomatic mediator at the same time”
CONFLICT
OF INTEREST: Is the wolf dressed in
sheep’s clothing?
Does the United States represent first and foremost
the needs, desires and best interest of the Iraqi people?
Or
Does the United States represent first and foremost
the self-interest
of those special interest groups that this
administration represents?
The United States through forcing their way in the
United Nations and the preemptive strike on Iraq has demanded of the world:
“You’re either with us or against us…It’s
our way or no way…”
and the Iraqi people don’t want that…they want
their own way.
The United States sacrificed world support, unity
and strength
when it
dictated its way on the world…
The United
States must now face its own failure, step aside
George Bush and his administration are very
vulnerable right now. In order to sell his war to the American public he has
built a fence around himself within which he cannot succeed. If we the
peacemakers of the world take action and form demonstrations to expose his
weaknesses in diplomatic ability and errors in planning, time and cost, as the
U.S. agenda breaks down we could undermine and topple George Bush and his
administration.
His time schedule for forming a new government and
getting out is all ready falling into shambles and will continue to do so.
The U.S. being welcomed with open arms by the Iraqi people as heroes and
liberators is not materializing. The
desires of the Iraqi people are in conflict with his agenda.
The Bush administration has proven weaknesses in
forcing their own way and not being able to mediate between factions with
varying viewpoints, interests and needs. George
Bush and his administration also has a major conflict of interest in making sure
that they secure and protect the self interests of the special interests groups
which they represent. George Bush, his administration, the U.S. military and the
CIA are incapable and the wrong entity to be in charge of mediating and creating
a new democratic government in Iraq.
By using the voice and power of demonstrations
worldwide we can expose George Bush’s diplomatic weaknesses and errors in
planning, time, cost, acceptance by the Iraqi people and their conflict of
interest. This will allow leaders
from around the world to mount pressure for the U.S. to get out of Iraq and turn
over reconstruction and the creation of a new government to the united effort of
a world coalition through the United Nations.
This will also expose the people of the United
States to the true reality of the costs, time and vulnerability that George Bush
and his administration has placed the U.S. George Bush will be rejected in the next election if his
nation building in Iraq is seen as failing and his diplomatic ability as
inadequate. He will be thrown out
of office if he is seen as having created a prolonged, ugly and very costly
unending entrenchment in which the U.S. is now trapped.
If the safety and security hungry public of the U.S. do not see this war
and engagement as producing an increase in U.S. and world safety and security,
but in fact see the U.S. as less safe and more threatened and insecure, George
Bush and his administration is finished.
Through focusing worldwide demonstrations on
exposing the weakness, failures and conflict of interest of George Bush and his
inability to mediate a successful conclusion to the Iraqi situation we can bring
about a regime change in the United States.
These demonstrations would also let the people of
Iraq know that we realize and understand their plight and support them in their
effort to create a government of and for the people of Iraq and not end up under
a new, U.S. friendly, puppet regime.
