Classes for MED

Seven classes will be taught; all at a “World” level and all addressed as a pro’s and con’s perspective. All sides of each coin must be presented.

The classes are:

1.     Economics and Marketing

2.    Technology/ the use and misuse

  1. Sociology/civics                   (what is a society /makes it succeed or fail)
  2.  Politics and Government (Many topics, here-Communism, Capitalism,

                                                                Democratic, Socialist, Internal affairs, etc.)

*The instructor of this class, thankfully, is a retired Republican-turned-Independent from the state of Vermont.  He has changed the course of a nation once, is not afraid to give it a second try.

  1. World Theologies               (Involves some history and some literature…definitely

relevant, though, when considering how many wars have been fought

over religious differences.) All differences will be discussed.

         6.   History                   (This class is intended to incorporate, as will Sociology, many cultural

themes of art and music.) The students will be asked to share their

personal types of creativity, also.  The teachers are there to learn as

                                                                well as teach.

         7.   Language and Communication:  How to effectively communicate through the

individual application of body language; an overview, also, of the

most ancient forms of writing/communication and what they “said.”

This class, as all, will be very involved.  Oddly but perfectly, each class

compliments the other.  They are truly interwoven with one another.

The only  fundamental class not taught at this school is Math Basics. Math is, as you know, a universal language; is the oldest if not one of the oldest known to humankind.  Economics, however, will sharpen those numeric skills with regard to accounting, etc.
