NOTE: we are phasing out the peace@nmsu.edu list. and replacing our service provider with riseup.
The list is very active, with about 8 to 10 emails each day, with discussions of current events, recommended readings and strategies for PeaceAware. Our purpose is to Discuss Peace options, plan events, and stay PeaceAware. It is now a closed list, which means Webmaster Boje is only one who can add anyone.

Your application to the new listserv - peaceawarelists.riseup.net will take one to two days to be approved and activated. That is because, to prevent SPAM, it is a CLOSED LIST, and you need list owner approval to enter.

OTHER OPTIONS : PeaceAware.com has several discussion boards. These are not very used. With a discussion board, you go to a web site and you read and post messages there. You do not get email. This is a good way to limit the listserv email. If you want to post articles or longer items then go to http//groups.yahoo.com/group/PeaceAware/ and post it there. Then you can send a short note to peace@nmsu.edu and list the link to your article in the email.
1. PeaceAware's Brand New Board on our new 9 gig server. This is the best place to post an item, then let people respond to it. You can join the Peace@nmsu.edu list above then list the link to the topic and or article you want people to discuss. Good way to gather feedback on a proposed PeaceAware initiative. See
